The Twitter25
Greenhouse Management is debuting its Twitter25, a list of some of the most dazzling green industry Twitter accounts on social media.
By Cassie Neiden and Chris Mosby
Social media is increasingly important for meeting clients, engaging existing and potential customers and developing a finely tuned brand image. One of the trendiest platforms, particularly for young people, is Twitter. The website offers users a soapbox to broadcast their witticisms, deepest thoughts, trivial banalities or sweet sales deals, all within a tidy, 140-character limit.
Among the drawbacks of Twitter is the white noise effect. Users have to follow other users to receive their tweet messages. But frequently, the feed of messages coming in can be overwhelming and unimportant drivel can drown out the key tweets.
The solution to that problem is simple: Know who to follow. If you follow only the best, most relevant accounts then you can make Twitter the sharp-edged marketing weapon and information gatherer it’s meant to be.
To that point, Greenhouse Management has assembled 25 of the best Twitter accounts for you to follow.
The entire list can be found on our website, greenhousemag.com, but we’re highlighting five of our selections below.
