The Grow & Sell for Profit Conference, Nov. 8-9, in Raleigh, N.C., will focus on delivering the business solutions growers and retailers need to boost their bottom lines. OFA is partnering with the North Carolina Commercial Flower Growers Association, the South Carolina Greenhouse Growers Association and the Virginia Flower Growers Association. The two-day event was developed to facilitate networking and connecting attendees and exhibitors on and off the trade show floor. The conference will focus on delivering take-home business solutions that can increase profits for growers and retailers. The $149 registration fee ($99 for OFA members) includes lunch on the trade show floor and allows additional staff to attend the event for just $49. For more: OFA, (614) 487-1117; www.ofa.org. |

OFA has expanded its outreach educational programs with two programs in the fall. The Plug & Cutting Conference in San Jose, Calif., Sept. 12-14, will feature more than 30 plug and cutting production experts who will cover a variety of topics needed to make critical business decisions. Although the program is geared toward growers of all levels, the conference is especially valuable for intermediate to advanced plug and cutting growers due to in-depth sessions, interactive workshops and a hands-on tour. For those new to plug and cutting growing or those looking for a refresher, attending the conference will provide insight into producing and selling quality products at a profit.
