The National Greenhouse Manufacturers Association represents and advances the interests of the greenhouse industry through education, networking and communication. We are a a professional trade organization for the manufacturers and suppliers of greenhouse structures and greenhouse components. The NGMA supplies the greenhouse users of today with the absolute best there is to offer. Our membership is a gathering of many of the most experienced and knowledgeable people in the industry.
This year provided the NGMA and its membership the opportunity to meet in Clearwater, Florida. The meeting was well attended and allowed for a great exchange of knowledge between the seasoned membership and a contingent of new members and representatives. Discussion focused on concerns with supply chain, proliferation of CEA, industry growth and trends and code concerns about greenhouse efficiency and construction, among many other subjects.
The NGMA has always been poised to meet the challenges brought forth by the horticultural industry. The strength of our organization is the collective knowledge of its membership. We offer a fair and open forum for discussion and networking. I want to personally thank the NGMA membership for their participation and vitality.
I also would like to offer an invitation for those who are interested in NGMA to contact membership@ngma.com and visit our website at ngma.com. There, NGMA continues to monitor the energy and building codes that will alter our industry. We also produce new and updated “Helpful Hints” documents, found on the website under the Industry Information heading.
Finally, we encourage greenhouse users to please speak to our membership about your greenhouse needs.
Thank you for another year as NGMA president,
Tim Lauer
