Greenhouse growers that can create uniform conditions throughout the entire growing environment can improve plant quality and production by controlling air inside the greenhouse. Proper temperature, humidity and light levels are essential to successful growing.
To create the ideal growing conditions, growers can turn to American Coolair’s ventilation products, including exhaust fans, circulation fans and evaporative cooling systems. These products work to condition the air coming into their greenhouses.
American Coolair systems help greenhouse operations increase profits by both increasing plant yield and cutting costs.
“American Coolair’s products are designed to keep the environment of the greenhouse in ideal conditions for any growing application,” says H.B. Graves, American Coolair agricultural sales manager. “This helps plants thrive and produce as much yield as possible for the customer. Additionally, our product is one of the most long-lasting products available for purchase in the greenhouse industry. This helps customers continue to realize profits as they don’t need to replace their equipment as frequently as they would with many of our competitors’ products.”
In addition to their long lifespans, American Coolair systems require minimal maintenance work to keep them running.
“We have designed our fans to be very low maintenance,” Graves says. “Our evaporative cooling systems are self-contained to prevent leaks and promote ease of operation. All of our products are manufactured in America with predominantly American materials, so that they are higher quality than most of our competition.”
The minimal maintenance required by American Coolair ventilation systems means that not only do growers avoid the high costs of replacing entire ventilation systems, but throughout their lifespans it takes less regular work to keep them running. And the proof is out there: many American Coolair fans last for decades.
“It’s very common for us to hear from customers who have fans of ours that are in excess of 30 or 40 years old that their fans are still operational,” he says.
The American Coolair staff works with greenhouse operations to assess their needs and recommend an appropriate fan system.
“We work with greenhouses to analyze what will work best for them,” Graves says. “Every growing operation is different. Our goal is the same as theirs. We want them to have an ideal growing environment and for their operation to be profitable.”
