Syngenta Flowers has announced it will host webCAST 2020, which will share full digital coverage of its latest genetic innovations, technical trialing results and marketing programs with customers.
The live-streamed webCAST will take place on Tuesday,, March 31, noon to 2 p.m. PST and Wednesday, April 1 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. PST. Customers can attend the event via Facebook and Syngenta’s website.
Each day will provide a new lineup of topics, from new varieties to our ‘power brands,’ to side-by-side comparisons of essential crops.
Although the site is closed to visitors at this time, Syngenta Flowers is working to organize an alternative to its traditional CAST event. WebCAST 2020 is the company’s way of welcoming attendees to its facility from the convenience of their own office, connecting them to its experts and providing the opportunity to learn about its newest innovations, both genetic and technical. Syngenta will highlight over 140 new seed and vegetative varieties. It will showcase new series and new North American partnerships that bring its genetics stateside. Syngenta will also discuss its latest technical trials in detail.
Syngenta Flowers has the industry’s longest history of leadership and participation of the CAST event, when Goldsmith Seeds began hosting Pack Trials in 1967 at its Gilroy, California breeding location. Doors were open to brokers and growers to view the new crosses and hybrid seed breeding that was rapidly changing the landscape of the bedding plant market. Today, over 50 years later, it is still proud to be a cornerstone of the event, hosting over 1,200 guests every spring.
