PPA announces 2022 Perennial Plant of the Year

San Diego County Flower & Plant Association honors industry icon
Julian Duval, leader of the San Diego Botanic Garden, receives the San Diego County Flower & Plant Association’s Industry Icon Award. After a long and distinguished career dedicated to San Diego’s horticulture industry, Julian retired in 2019. Of course, a man can’t completely leave a decades-long love of plants – while in retirement, Julian continues to tend to his own private botanic garden.
