This fall, the American Horticultural Society invites plant enthusiasts nationwide to embark on a journey of discovery with its new fall 2024 Lifelong Learning offerings.
Launching in mid-September, the fall term of these popular educational programs features four series: Horticulture & the Environment; Garden Design & Techniques; Plants, Culture & Community; and Behind-the-Scenes Garden Tours.
Speakers include botanical artist and landscape designer Lily Kwong, ecological horticulturist Rebecca McMackin and bestselling author and environmental journalist Zoe Schlanger, among others.
“We are thrilled to offer these dynamic, inspiring learning experiences that engage plant lovers of all levels and geographies," says AHS Director of National Programs Courtney Allen. "Our programs provide a unique opportunity to learn best practices from the top horticultural experts in the nation.”
Programs take place online and in-person for plant lovers of all learning levels across the country. Participants can register for individual programs, a series or all four series at ahsgardening.org/lifelong-learning. AHS members receive discounted registration.
