West Chicago, IL - Ball Seed, a North American horticultural distributor, is set to launch the Garden Mum Growth Tracking Tool for its Ball Mum growers. The new tool simplifies growth measurements by providing a space to enter weekly plant growth into a formula, which then compares the crop to a projected model. The tracking tool is easy to use as a Microsoft Office Excel file.
“Ball Seed offers the finest garden mums in the industry, with excellent genetics, colors and landscape performance,” says Cynthia Drumgool, the business manager for Ball Mums. “Creating this tracking tool allows growers to visually see all of their garden mum progress and growth, while providing a chance to correct production obstacles for the best success.”
In addition to the growth tracking tool, a new resource web page at the Ball Seed website gives growers an easy way to search for garden mums by color, category, timing and more. There is a quick A-Z reference guide available for download as well.
