BioWorks, which provides integrated plant health solutions to the horticulture and specialty ag markets, has hired Curt Granger as business development manager for specialty agriculture.
In his new role, Granger will lead the company’s efforts to focus on a deeper expansion into the specialty agriculture market.
Granger has more than 30 years of experience in the specialty crop and produce markets. Prior to joining BioWorks, he served as a contract consultant that established product trials to support label registrations and expansions into California.
He also served in technical sales, channel development and commercialization roles and was instrumental in bringing multiple bio-fertility, bio-yield and biopesticide products to specialty ag for large, multi-national crop protection companies.
“Curt’s broad understanding of and experience in specialty crops is key to our growth plan in North America. He also has the right skills to work with sustainable, specialty crop growing operations,” said Troy Bettner, vice president of sales and technical services.
Granger earned his bachelor's degree in agricultural science and business management with an emphasis in viticulture from UC Davis.
Contact Granger at 530-606-6241 or cgranger@bioworksinc.com.
