The Colorado State University Perennial Trial Program has announced its ‘Top Performer’ winners for 2019. The trial program tests newer perennial cultivars which have been introduced in the past three years or less. Entries in these trials may overwinter twice before they are switched out for new entries. Take a look at the winners below:

- Lami Dark Purple Spotted Deadnettle from Danziger (Lamium maculatum 'Dark Purple')
- SUMMERIFIC Cherry Choco Latte Rose Mallow from Walters Gardens, Inc. (Hibiscus x hybrida 'Cherry Choco Latte'PPAF)
- GRANITA Orange Ice Plant from Plant Select (Delosperma ‘PJS02S’)
- Bandwidth Maiden Grass from Darwin Perennials (Miscanthus sinensis 'NCMS2B'PP29460)
