Griffin Greenhouse Supplies acquires Waldo & Associates Inc.

Griffin Greenhouse Supplies, a family-owned single source supplier of horticultural products since 1947, has acquired Waldo & Associates Inc., a Midwest horticultural distributor based in Perrysburg, Ohio.

This acquisition strengthens Griffin’s presence in the Midwest to give Waldo customers access to a wide array of new products and services.

Griffin, headquartered in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, has 15 stocked distribution centers. Waldo is a local distributor and greenhouse manufacturer focused on the small and medium-sized business market who has grown relationships that span 40 years.

Growers, nurseries and independent garden centers will now have increased access and buying power advantage of quality products, service and on-demand knowledge to help growing operations thrive in all regions.

With long-standing supplier relationships, Griffin vendors have an expanded market reach, while Griffin operations help raise efficiencies so that customers have faster delivery and product availability. The Waldo sign shop will continue to operate under the Griffin brand to help growers, nurseries and retail centers guide and serve their customers, as the Perrysburg, Ohio, distribution center is welcomed into the Griffin family of service centers nationwide.
