Employee-owned Harrell’s LLC, announced the appointment of current Harrell’s chief operating officer, Jack Harrell III, as their new president and COO. Jack Harrell III will succeed current Harrell’s president of nearly 20 years, Dave Schermerhorn, who will be shifting roles to vice chairman of the board at Harrell’s, LLC. The news comes from the company’s annual national sales meeting where Harrell’s CEO and chairman of the board, Jack Harrell Jr., was joined onstage by both Jack Harrell III and Schermerhorn to make the historic announcement.
Jack Harrell III is a highly respected leader at Harrell’s with 14 years of experience and will continue to propel the company into the future. “It is an honor to take on this new responsibility,” Jack Harrell III said. “I’ve worked very closely with Dave for many years now and I look forward to working with him and my dad for years to come.”
Schermerhorn has been leading the charge with Jack Harrell Jr. for 19 years and is looking forward to his new position and the opportunities it brings for Harrell’s moving forward. “I am excited about this new role as vice chairman,” Schermerhorn said. “I look forward to working with Jack Jr. and Jack III into the future and supporting the team.”
