Hydrofarm, a manufacturer and distributor of branded hydroponics equipment and supplies for CEA, announced a strategic partnership with Trolmaster Agro Instruments, a technology company in smart agriculture and automation.
Trolmaster, together with its two sister brands ThinkGrow LED and Aero-Fans, will become a “preferred brand” sold through Hydrofarm’s distribution platform.
Known for its Internet of Things connectivity and reliability, Trolmaster’s full suite of smart environmental controllers includes the product lines Hydro-X, Aqua-X and Carbon-X. The parties will collaborate on multiple fronts in distribution, service and innovations and will focus on efficiency, automation and AI integration.
"We are excited to introduce Trolmaster’s advanced technology to our extensive network of retailers and growers. Their stellar reputation and proven leadership in the field of smart grow rooms complements our portfolio, while aligning with our mission to empower growers," said Mark Parker, executive vice president of Hydrofarm.
"We’re thrilled to join forces with Hydrofarm, a company that naturally fits within our values of quality, innovation and customer satisfaction. This partnership allows us to keep investing in engineering, R&D and innovation while improving the service and availability of our products. We have one shared goal, and that’s to empower growers to succeed through innovation," said Jason Chan, president of Trolmaster.
The full line of Trolmaster products will start shipping from Hydrofarm’s warehouses in the first quarter of 2025.
