For more than 30 years, National Garden Bureau (NGB) has been showcasing and promoting their member’s products in the program called “Year of.” Over the years, the program has steadily expanded to encompass more members and gardeners, while also including more stunning images, downloadable POP for retailers and now, for the first time, a “Year of” Video Contest.
NGB is proud to announce the three winners of the first-ever #SnapdragonLove video contest to celebrate the Year of the Snapdragon in 2019:

An animated short that will tug at the heartstrings of any parent, especially one who has passed their love of gardening on to their offspring.
Runner Up
Created by Sarah Harding
Getting children involved in gardening is important, and this video captures the essence of a child’s nature experience.
“My students love horticulture and love to share with others all the great things about plants, bugs, and conservation," Huntsville Center technical chair and first place winner James Langley says. "When we started talking about ideas for the video they wanted to do something serious and educational as my students are very serious about what they do and take pride in being in the horticulture field. However, during the filming of the Snapdragon video, my students thought if it was a little cheesy instead of being serious , maybe people would enjoy the video a little more and find joy in raising snapdragons.”
NGB congratulates all the winners and thanks all entrants in working to help promote the fun and beauty of snapdragons.
