St. Paul, Minn. – The Advertising Federation of Minnesota (Ad Fed) has tabbed Bailey Nurseries’ Ryan McEnaney as one of its 32 Under 32 winners, representing the best up and coming marketing minds in Minnesota. Since its inception in 2013, this award has celebrated the next generation of original thinkers that drive forward to redefine the future and those that aren’t afraid to disrupt the status quo.
McEnaney, who represents the fifth generation of ownership at family-owned Bailey Nurseries, brings his leadership and energy to help influence and introduce plants to new consumers by serving as the public relations and communications specialist. With his role constantly evolving, McEnaney currently acts as the leading spokesperson for Bailey’s three consumer brands: Endless Summer Hydrangeas, First Editions Plants, and Easy Elegance Roses.
He also secured Endless Summer’s position as the first-ever Official Flower of the Super Bowl and is the driving force behind the brand’s national #LifeinFullBloom media and community engagement tours. McEnaney recently expanded Bailey’s horticultural content to include non-traditional publications like The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and Architectural Digest.
“I am truly humbled and grateful to be selected by Ad Fed as one of this year’s 32 winners,” said McEnaney. “We work in this industry of beauty, so to be able to help others create a sense of pride in their own gardens constantly inspires and challenges me to find creative ways to engage with our varied audiences.”
“I am thrilled for Ryan to receive this honor because it represents the true embodiment of his constant drive to push the boundaries,” said Bailey Nurseries marketing and communications manager Alec Charais. “His passion for plants and joy to connect with people bridges the gap between generations of traditional gardeners to young homeowners who are just getting started with beautifying their surroundings.”
