During his TPIE opening session talk yesterday on innovating and creating, business strategist John Kennedy had much to say about leading, inspiring, and hiring the best staff possible. Not one to mince words, Kennedy told his audience: “You’re only as good as your employee who sucks the most.”
He went on to encourage his audience to hire employees who are creative thinkers even if they’re different – especially if they’re different. “Don’t be afraid to hire the freak dancing in the parking lot.”
