WestRock's Multi Packaging Solutions (MPS) presents a new line of labeling equipment designed for the horticulture industry. The automatic label applicators allow users to print inline or apply pre-printed labels to pots, print information on adhesives during production and verify barcode readability.
The automated label applicators are designed to reduce labor and increase production, according to the company. The label applicators are offered in four models: two inline print and apply systems and two offline printing label applicators. WestRock also offers customers a complete turnkey solution, which includes labels, automation, installation, training and support from its service centers across the country.
“The RockLine label applicators provide consistently placed labels on pots in a fast and efficient manner, increasing speed and efficiency, said Kristi Huffman, senior vice president of Horticulture at WestRock MPS.
The label applicators were unveiled to the public at AmericanHort’s horticulture tradeshow, Cultivate, held in July of 2019.
